With COVID-19 infection associated with a higher risk of premature deliveries, stillbirths and even death in childbirth, there is heightened urgency to provide accurate, accessible information about the COVID-19 vaccines among those currently, or planning, to become pregnant. According to the most recent data from the CDC, approximately one in three people currently pregnant are not fully vaccinated, a higher rate than in the general population.
