Do I have to pay to get vaccinated for COVID?

Health care workers answer questions about the COVID-19 vaccines.

Noha Aboelata, MD explains that the COVID vaccines are free and no one has to pay to get vaccinated for COVID.

Right now, getting vaccinated is free. It’s going to be covered in every way. That’s the same thing that we’ve seen with COVID testing. I think that there is, you know, a lot of investment that is going on to make sure that there is going to be equal access for everyone.

How long will that last? I cannot say, you know, at some point, is this something that’s going to be covered under different insurance plans? I’m sure it will. And so I think that it will be something to definitely watch, but as it stands right now, nobody is paying for the COVID vaccine.
