What side effects do children experience from the COVID vaccine?

Infectious Disease Specialist and Epidemiologist, Céline Gounder, MD explains that most children experience mild side effects that go away after a few days.

I think people should feel confident that we did not see any serious side effects among kids. The COVID vaccines have similar side effects as do other pediatric vaccines, so children may have fevers hey may have some irritability, including difficulty sleeping or feeding soon after the vaccination And they may have a little bit of irritation at the vaccination site.
